It's funny how I've seen several "Earth Junk" reviews mention the Fiery Furnaces -- "funny" because I'm a huge* fan of theirs, but I don't think I ever would have made that connection ("EJ" sounds pretty dissimilar to me; except I guess for the basic involvement of keys/organ...)
(*by "huge" I mean - I weigh 450 lbs.)
