I need game testers for my latest game: Beyond Exile 1.0 which is based on the epic poem "Beyond Exile" written by Dr. Lawrence Johns.
This adventure is a fictional point-and-click interactive adaptation of Lawrence Johns' epic poem, "Beyond Exile", (published: Conscious Publishing, 2034 SW Vermont Street, Portland, OR, 97219, ISBN 9781929096046, ©2008 by Lawrence Johns, All Rights Reserved)
I'm looking for at least 3 game testers to try a free evaluation of the game, for the purpose of collecting data for Beyond Exile 2.0 to be published in January 2009, and be made available to the internet at the www.textadventures.uk.com web site. |
| If you are interested in this project, it would help me a great deal. It would be somewhat of an investment of your time. Dr. Johns book is epic poetry, and thus so is the game. Average game-play is estimated at 12 to 24 hours, obviously something to be played over the course of several days in small chunks, where the game-player can save their game and resume at their discretion.
A game tester is very valuable in that they can provide information to improve the overall game-play. I'm simply asking for any commentary you might have regarding the game. This could include:
-finding bugs in the game
-finding spelling/grammar errors
-not understanding plot sequences
-the game is too long, short, unresolved, etc...
Any commentary you offer will be helpful. There is no financial gain for me to publishing this game online, so unfortunately there is also no financial gain in being a game tester. But, if you participate I will kindly add your name as thanks in the closing credits of the game, if you so desire.
The next stages of development involve a "directors cut" version 3.0 to be made available through the book publisher, a treatment, a screen play, and then...the motion picture business...hopefully Hollywood.
This game should shatter the genre of text adventure "games", in hopes of establishing a wider platform catering to epic poetry, fiction and all forms of the printed word.
So if you are interested, please respond, and I will send you the links to download the FREE adventure software, and the game.
Thank you for your time.
