Climate, Weather on the 88s and San Diego

According to the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau, average temperatures in June range from a high of 71 F. to a low of 61 F.; average humidity is 74%; average rainfall is 0.06 inches; average sunshine is 58%.  (June is the least sunny month of the year in San Diego.)

Evenings are almost always cool, even in summer, so you should bring a jacket or sweater.  Days are warm, so you might want to have a hat and sun screen.  Few restaurants require coats and ties for men, and most welcome casual attire.

Dress for the Institute is very casual except for the two banquets. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes for walking around on cinders.
