I studiously (piously) avoid searching on myself or bands I've been in thru the webz-- so I never know what; but someone pointed out to me the 'wikipedia notability guidelines' for musicians and I was pleased to believe that I still qualify. For example:
  • Has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works

  • Has had a charted single or album on any national music chart (do Uk indie charts count?)

  • Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (Or...like way many more than that)

  • has been a member of two or more independently notable ensembles (pussy galore and royal trux qualify, right?)

  • Has performed music for a work of media that is notable (that song from "Hi-Fidelity," right? which is on cable all the time, though I've still not seen it)

    • SO, haha fuck all you haters from back in high school!

if anything, you overqualify, but uh . . . wot's the deal with this rxconor drama? Are you polling our chain(s)?
no there have been complaints (3.00 / 1)
the "main" rxconor (and no one knows who that is) trolls other sites like he's an official "hex" representative and signs up the site to receive spam posts etc

also all the bandmembers have access to that name and sometimes will over use it driving down too much content (I guess they do this as a parody or something)-- although no one of us will admit who has done this

we all suspect each other

that's the other thing, there are literally hundreds of seemingly unique new users that have bios with advertisements ranging from things like 'diaper cakes' to 'how to cure diarrhea.'  I don't know enough about blogs and websites to know if these are some kind of common ad-bots or the tirelessly obsessive work of a sociopath!

I believe I'll write a diary in support of keeping the rxconor 'persona,' because its part of a good All Saints' Day mystery.

...I assumed he was a sad, dumpy NYC based schizophrenic in his early thirties, the kinda guy who sidles up to you in a diner and will not stop talking...I've been had!

a few of those rxconor posts have some good lines. I'm in favor of content (by anyone), esp. since it's not really clear to me what is intended to be posted on this site -- or other "artist"-run sites -- by readers ("fans"). To the extent he's real, at least he's posting...
